The term ”out of the blue” means without warning; unexpectedly. No one in my inner circle would ever dream I‘d start a podcast & open myself up to the world like this, so here we are. I‘m no stranger to rare disease and disorders, I‘ve spent my entire lifetime as a Phenylketonuria (PKU) patient. I‘m now known throughout the rare disease community, social media and the pageant circuit as “The Rare Queen”, I am a daughter, mother, grandmother, rare disease advocate, author, speaker, special needs empowerment/mindset coach, and finally a pageant queen with a nomadic spirit.....And now a recently divorced woman in her 40s. This podcast is about my life, the struggles I‘ve gone through as a rare patient, how I got back on track with my health (which is an ongoing journey) what role my spirituality has played in this journey, and finally just to have fun and maybe reach & help others in the process.
